"There is always joy in being together"

The senior adults at Mt. Gilead Baptist Church are indeed a blessing. We look forward to our fellowships together.

The seniors have two set dates each month; game night on the fourth Friday, and the senior luncheon which usually falls on the first Sunday after the morning worhsip. During game night we usually bring a covered dish and eat together then we break out the games and play skip bo, dominos, and other excititng games. For our monthly luncheon we usually eat at the church. We usually purchase a meat and everyone brings side dishes or desserts. We have a great time of eating and talking to one another. We sometimes have entertainment. There is always joy in being together.

We also attend other senior functions throughout the year.

We will be out of town celebrating our 50th wedding anniversary and look forward to returning soon for our senior adult luncheon. We wouldn't want to miss it. We invite all seniors to join us for these great times of fellowship.

The Lord is good to all and HIs tender mercies are over all His works.
