Celebrate Irving's 5 year Anniversary at MGBC
Irving Cook celebrates 5 years on our staff this month. Be sure and tell him how much you appreciate his dedication to our Senior Adult Ministry and as our official Minister of Announcements.
Heres a few interesting facts about Irving:
*He was born during the Presidential Administration of Herbert Hoover. *He was married to the former Jo Trimble during the Eisenhower administration.
*He is the father of 6 children.
*He was a cheerleader
* He was on a swim team
Irving has served many churches in many capacities. He has been a Youth Minister, Education Minister, Worship Leader and Administrator.
Heres a short list of some of the churches he has served in over 50 years of ministry:
FBC Greenville, Retta Baptist Church, North Fort Worth Baptist Church, Northwest Baptist Church (Oklahoma City), Castle Hills Baptist Church (San Antonio), First Southern Baptist Church (Del City, OK), Red Bridge Baptist Church (Kansas City, MO), and others. Be sure to congratulate Irving for his many years of service not only to Mt. Gilead but the many other places he has served.
